Activities and Features

In addition to the classes, the Known World Costume Symposium will feature a number of other activities of interest.

Fashion Show

Saturday evening there will be a fashion show that will be videotaped and copies will be available for purchase $10 on CD or on video. These copies will be mailed after the event.

Portrait Photography

Photographer Angelina Oberlin will be on site taking photos against medieval backgrounds for an additional charge.

Symposium Proceedings

Proceedings will be available for $15 print or $10 on CD. To receive the proceedings on site you must pre-register. If they are purchased at the gate they will be mailed 2 weeks after the event.

Field Trip

There will be a field trip for those interested to the Kent State Fashion Museum on Sunday for a charge of $10 per person. Interested parties will be bused to Kent. Pre-registration is required as space will be limited.

Other Event Facilities

A free Internet lounge will be available Saturday for all guests. Also, for the convenience of our Royal visitors, there will be a royalty room available.
